Augusta Studio Collaborative is a photography focused rental space for photographers of all skill levels. 

 

 

 

You are welcome to bring your own lighting equipment and backdrops or use ours.  We provide 2 Alien Bee 800's with a variety of modifiers as well as White, Black & Gray seamless paper.

We have the CSRA's first LightWall! Natural looking windowlight anytime, day or night!  The LightWall is 10x10 and on heavy-duty casters to allow easy positioning. Color temperature and brightness can both be adjusted via remote to create the perfect image. 

  The camera room is 25x40 with 12ft roll-up door, wood-look flooring and access to a dressing/rest room.  Rental options include hourly, half-day and full-day or Memberships.  

 

Hourly Rentals

Up to 2 hours:  $75,  Each additional hour:  $35

Half Day: 6 hours  $200,  Full Day: 12 hours  $400

 

1 Year Membership

10 hours per month: $250,  Additional time: $20 per hour

Each member is issued a private code for entry and access to the studio.  Memberships require a 1 year contract and then continue month-to-month until 30 days written notice is given.

Introduction to Photography

Let's start with the basics of photography: important terms and the essential elements of proper exposure. Next we'll move into camera functions and how to use ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed to create the images you envision. We'll then wrap up with a discussion on editing, equipment, and resources for continued learning.

Studio Lighting - Beginner

Learn on your own lighting equipment or use ours! We start the first hour by breaking down the basics including: "stops of light", ratios, and lighting patterns. Bring a friend to be your model and we will spend the second hour building confidence with hands on application.

Getting Down to Business - Part 1

Don't know where to start? Let's get together and talk it out. What are your photography business goals?
I'll explain the steps of setting up your business with proper permits, licenses, contracts, and resources pertaining to taxes. We'll break down the cost of doing business and how that ties into setting your prices. We will also cover proven sales methods to ensure you are working smarter, not harder!

The continuation of Getting Down to Business where we'll discuss finding your ideal client, marketing techniques, social media, and client communication. Finally, we will dive into establishing policies and procedures to help your photography business run smoothly.
